So…I wrote a bunch of songs for a 24 year old prom queen turned country singer
Honestly it was really difficult to write for someone else, especially a rich guys daughter, but I did it. She really has an incredible voice, and I think she could actually do something in the country world. I think I did a fairly decent job, considering most of my songs are from the perspective of a 27 year old singer/songwriter who enjoys whiskey and cigarettes. I listened to today’s pop country for a couple months, while I scribbled down ideas, and then I wrote a couple songs for her, and I also ‘co-wrote’ a couple songs with her, which basically consisted of me writing songs while she nodded her head. Today she is in an amazing studio in Nashville recording my songs and ‘our’ songs with the backing band from Lynyrd Skynyrd and the petal steal player from Hank Jr.’s band. Don’t worry I already have the songs copy written to get my publishing rights. I hope she becomes the next ‘whoever is the big shitty ass country pop star’ soon so that I can just sit back and collect money forever.
